Ancestral Relationships for mental health

My TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY

“We often preoccupy ourselves with the symptoms, whereas if we went to the root cause of the problems, we would be able to overcome the problems once and for all."

Patient-Centered Medicine and Psychiatry

PATIENT-CENTERED

Everything in mental health care should be oriented around the patient’s needs, experiences, and goals. From collecting diagnostic clues to considering treatment options to working through the process of healing, I recognize that each patient is a unique individual with changing needs who will require an equally unique and flexible therapeutic approach. I will take the time to listen deeply to your feelings and experiences and tailor the treatment to you
Collaborative Medicine and Psychiatry

COLLABORATIVE

A strong doctor-patient relationship built on mutual trust and respect is the foundation of effective mental health care. I honor it as an equal and healing partnership and welcome your communication and feedback throughout the treatment process.
Root Cause Oriented Medicine and Psychiatry

ROOT-CAUSE ORIENTED

The most effective and enduring solution to any mental health issue is one that addresses the root or underlying causes of disease. These causes may include previous experiences, current stresses, psychological conflicts, medical illness, poor fitness, nutritional deficits, and/or other lifestyle issues. I will advise you about and work with you to address any or all of these issues, based on your goals and needs.
Integrative Medicine and Psychiatry

INTEGRATIVE

The complexity of mental illness and the health of the mind should be reflected in a treatment approach that does not overly rely on one intervention, such as medication. I draw from a variety of different treatment techniques, therapeutic modalities, and disciplines of knowledge to craft a plan of care that will maximize your mind’s and body’s natural healing potential and give you the best chance of sustainable success.
Holistic Medicine and Psychiatry

HOLISTIC

Psychological dysfunction does not occur in a vacuum and that physical health is directly linked to mental health. The fundamental connection between all people and things and the relationships we have with ourselves, each other, and our environments are important components of mental and physical well-being. I can work with you to rule out underlying medical issues, optimize your physical wellness, and strengthen your essential relationships for better health.
Cutting-Edge Medicine and Psychiatry

EVIDENCE-BASED

I integrate the ancient, genetic wisdom of our bodies and basic human compassion with the latest scientific research to provide informed, balanced care. I am ready to provide you with the best care possible and to support you on your healing journey.

Hi! I'm Dr. Iannucci

I’m a Board Certified adult psychiatrist who specializes in holistic mental health.  My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in biology and cultural anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, a medical degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, a residency in General Psychiatry, a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine, and two years of training with the Florida Psychoanalytic Center.  I believe my most important qualification, however, is a genuine desire to connect with my patients and help them feel better.

"diversity and connection make our minds and our worlds more beautiful. They are also essential to our health."
